Took Japan Airlines. Quite bad experience as I found a dead fly in my salad. 😡 I expect higher standard from the Japan Airline. Was given a fruit cake as an apology but I don't really like fruit cake. 😩 And the air temperature was warm. According to one of the air stewardess, she explained that the Japanese prefer warm temperature. 😐 One good thing is that the air stewardesses and stewards were polite.
Reached Haneda Airport (HND) and bought the 1 day pass to Disneyland Tokyo! 1 adult pass for ¥7,400/SGD$91.76.
There is an airport limousine bus (shared coach) provided from the airport to the hotel, Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. Each adult ticket costs ¥1230/SGD$15.25. The journey is about 1 hour plus (depends on the traffic). I bought the ticket from Expedia, together with the hotel and flight. 2 adults tickets cost $31.26.

The route as below. Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is the last stop.
Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is apparently a popular hotel to stay in Shinjuku. The hotel is less than 10 minute walk from Shinjuku train station and Takashimaya.

Robot assistant at the hotel lobby.
Economy Room (non-smoking) - one queen sized double bed. The room is really small, the luggages had to be put upright after taking out or putting in things. The TV channels only has Japanese channels with no subtitles. There is free wifi in the room.
Bath robes and a digital clock were included in the room.
Toilet was quite spacious though! Hair dryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were included.
I like the body sponge, it's prefect for daily gentle exfoliation and works up a rich lather.
Narrow walkway from dressing table to the toilet.
2 green tea bags were given. The electric kettle was clean, no residue inside.
Ate lunch at Ganso zushi (元祖寿司 新宿西口店) . The restaurant is around the corner of the crossroad that is front of Lumine 1 building. It's at the Shinjuku south exit MRT station square store. The sushi restaurant is beside Yoshinoya (orange signboard). It's opposite of the First Kitchen restaurant, just across the road. The First Kitchen restaurant signboard is a big clock, not hard to miss it.

The cheapest plate is ¥125/SGD$1.56 and the premium plate costs ¥500/SGD$6.24. (Prices are without tax.) Affordable and decent fresh sushi. There is no menu given so we just took the plates off the conveyor belt.

I love going down to the basement to look at the food! Everything look so beautiful ~ 💮 💮
They sell bentos too. So much varieties that we had a hard time choosing!
Bought this bento (¥999/SGD$12.46) for dinner. Not bad even if it was cold.
So many tempura~
yakitori ~
The cookies, sweets and cakes are so beautiful made. Great for photos and souvenir.

The biscuit is not the melt-in-your-mouth kind of biscuit.
Along the path back to the hotel, we saw cigarette vending machines. Taspo Card is needed to purchase the cigarette to control the access to children. For tourists, we will just have to purchase the cigarettes from convenient stores.
Curry Shop C & C
There are 4 outlets of this shop around Shinjuku station! Seems like a popular choice, the shop is always full of people.
Shinjuku Street
Dinner was at this Yakitori Restaurant that we randomly walked into. Was enticed by the "Yakitori one 100 yen" flyer. 😁
Shop name: Torikizoku 鳥貴族 新宿歌舞伎町店
Address: Japan, 〒160-0021 Tokyo, Shinjuku, Kabukicho, 1−17−12
Opening hours: daily, 5pm to 5am
The Yakitori restaurant is just opposite of Don Quijote.
With tax, the bill totalled up to ¥2764/DSG$33.90. The yakitori are not bad, quite cheap too (minimum ¥100/SGD$1.23). And the ambiance is good, very relaxing with dim lighting.
