薄烧饼 Bao Shao Bing is our prata. lol

Taiwnese carrot cake is without egg? Not used to it, I prefer local carrot cake with is with egg. :T
I was looking forward to their breakfast but it was disappointing. The shao bing (aka prata) tasted stale. The you tiao is very crispy, like, it has been fried for the 2nd time.

Long Shan Temple

only one stop from Ximen Station (take the Blue Line towards Dingpu) to Long Shan Temple. Journey takes about 2min (exclude walking and waiting time).

Long Shan Temple station underpass. There are shops selling cheap clothes (more for elderly), jades, and local products.

Exit 1 from Long Shan Temple Station and you will see the temple.

All sort of amulets; for luck, business, studies, marriage luck etc

One of the famous pineapple tarts in Taiwan.

It was crowded and they prefer cash payment.

They have empty boxes of 6, 12 and 24 for you to pick and choose different flavours of tarts. There is cherry, honeydew, apple, strawberry flavour etc

The Sun Cake 太阳饼 is a must buy too. The maltose is sweet but not that sweet. The pastry is flaky, soft, and a hint of buttery taste.

Buy the pastry on your last day in Taiwan as the pastry have short shelf life.
