Located in between Han's and Starbucks, Hai Xian Lao is a quite small restaurant, it has an outdoor seating as well.
The interior of the restaurant. I think it's a bad idea to have the semi circle seating. It may seat many people but it's uncomfortable especially if more than 4 people are sitting on the semi circle seat.

The finger foods took a while to arrive. The meat and other ingredients came before the finger food.
Chicken and tom yam soup bases.
A wide range of condiments and sauces; chili, ginger, spring onion, garlic, vinegar, soya sauce, peanut sauce, etc. There are 2 stations of the condiments and sauces, one at each side of the restaurant.
Pay a price to enjoy free flow of drinks and you can change the drinks too!
The honey lemon and Thai milk tea tasted the right amount of sweetness.
The lamb was good! Can try!
Spanish fruit fed pork belly
Prawn paste chicken wings, spicy samosa and French fries! The finger food were fried upon ordered. That was why they took a while to be served.
Seafood paste. Tasted like, fish paste? Not my favourite.
The live tiger prawns were limited to 1 plate per pax. Which is just 4 prawns per pax.
Quite a wide varieties of vegetables. The vegetables were washed thoroughly and were fresh. No yellowish parts on the leaves.
Sliced beef. Fresh! 👍
The clams were the rather large kind.
This is one of the steamboat restaurants that I wouldn't mind going back and recommending friends and family! The 2 lady servers were polite. Makes the dining experience a good one too. However, the shopping mall centralized air con is not strong enough. The heat from the pot made us feel warm. 😓
